that day i took rust for my 1st macro shots. today is my 1st plant macro. noob display. please advise!

not too sure why the pics arent looking as vibrant as it should look. i guess its due to the compression.

even if i have a cable release also no fireworks for me to see & try shooting , whenever there will be fireworks , i will in the kitchen cooking .:cry:

can buy those handheld long stick fireworks and ask my wife to throw in the air & i shoot or not ?
