I compared the canon and sigma before deciding if i should sell the canon today at CP. And just the first click, i know just get the sigma.
The speed of the AF is no really a concern to me. The sharpness, CA control and colour retention is more of a concern which all these beat canon 35L hands down.
Can use this on a friend's wedding this coming sat!!

CP still have stock for Canon and Nikon mount. Just sold my canon 35L for this.

What happened in the last 60 years years of photography or the Korean and Vietnam wars.... lenses wasn't sealed ? They survived right ???

Then again, can't compare too.. Lenses made during those days were built like tanks... Most can still be used today and sometimes even producing images comparable to the most expensive of today's modern lenses, sans autofocus motors...

Lenses these days... Well.. Let's not go there, shall we..?

Well there are always ppl out there that deems the weather seal important very subjective. Me personally not important.

Bought this just days before CNY, managed to grab the last (nikon) copy at Cathay Marina. Some thoughts, really amazing IQ given the price point, I love the packaging and design of the lens. Imo, its so much better than the older offerings (both product and packaging). Pardon me as I am a marketing dude so to me these are important too.

Its nifty, packs a punch above its weight, a serious competition to the Nikon 35G/Canon 35L. All being said, this is coming from a street photography perspective. Some pics to show:

Today couldn't get into IT show due to carpark issues, so went to Funan. SLRR told me those first batches were good units...they didn't have the focus issues which recent batches have...SLRR also no stock.
