Real street photogs only shoot girls from the back, that's the art of street photography.

usually i prefer not to see the front view in cases like this. the chance of disappointment is usually greater.

I agree. 9 out of 10 is cmi case but there is always the 1 case. Hahahaaaa.... Apologies cannot help it.

haha take photos of your lovely girlfriends, wife or children and you won't be disappointed.

This lens has really become my default lens on my 6D. Taken many pictures during outings with the wife, very happy with the images. Too bad I can't really share here because the wife is quite a private person who doesn't like her pictures on the net.

Just got this lens today from Click and had a chance to try it out against the Canon 35L. There's no fight.. the Canon was considerably softer than the Sigma at wide open. The Sigma is super sharp and I think I made the right decision. At almost half the price makes me feel even better about the purchase.

Did a test at home on my 5D3 with the focus on the petal closest to center at f/2

Recently shot a work function solely with the Sigma 35mm. More than 1600 shots over 3 days. Ranging from large group photos to individual portraits to outdoor team activities to landscape to dinner functions to meeting room shots. Wasn't limited at all with this single focal length. For me, it can definitely replace the popular event lens - the 24-70mm. Just a couple of steps forward and backwards is all that's needed to match the 24-70mm range

No problems with focusing speed and accuracy. In certain low light, low contrast situation, yes it will take a touch longer to lock in but it is no worse than all the other lenses I have. Resolution and color are all excellent on the D800 (and I would think for other makes & models as well).

All in all, this Sigma 35mm has proven to me again and again that it is one hell of a versatile lens (on FF) and a top class performer.

Saw your post at B&S section...:bsmilie: so you save some cash too right...:thumbsup: still cant find time using the lens, got a faulty new dry cabinet to deal over the weekend...:sweat:
