Acually, I believe that all existing Sigma 35mm have focusing issues from first batch until now.
My friend's first batch requires a microadjust of +15 to get constant (though still some misses at times) accurate focus at f/1.4
Today I've tested 5 brand new copies that was just shipped to SG - 1 copy requires +15, 3 copies requires +20, 1 copy requires +13 and 1 copy requires +7
The copy that requires a +7 is the best one I've seen today (of course). It's not too bad, under no adjustment conditions, about 7 out of 10 images shot have pretty accurate focus. After adding +7, 9 out of 10 shots are having accurate focus.
The other 4, no microadjustment totally misfocus.
