I don't think she remembers or notice what you have. Maybe she can't tell the difference, & if she asks, just say its the same equipments you had for years, like having her as your GF for years :heart:, no change & nothing new :kiss:. Or, you can say that 1 fine day you open your letter box & you found all these in it. I think better stick to the 1st excuse.

If you always have a black camera & suddenly you appear with a red one, or you've been using a PnS then now you shoot with a DSLR, then its obvious rite? But if its black & black without distinct markings, can't tell much of a difference. Unless his GF is a camera geek.

I see quite a few bros here are pretty cowardly and/or spineless about spending their own money...... its your money and you should spend it on what you well please. If your parents nag..... its still understandable........but your GF ??? Drop her like a bad habit because that nagging will only get worse when you get married.
