Ok lah.....for so many years, my gf don't how much i had spend for photographic equipment.....but she knew i spend quite a lot......;p
Whenever she try to ask about camera stuff, i will just tell her to look at my photo instead, equipment is not that important. :bsmilie::bsmilie:....so far so good.

jus remember to assure her everyday "i bought all these to capture our wonderful memories together" and follow by the "i love u" thing..Ok, u noe larh.. It works, trust me.. Most impt of all is to balance the pics of bugs/insects/or whatever macro u are gg to tk and the pics of her/u and her inside, in order nt to incur her wrath.. Women's fury is scary i tell u...(My wife throw my Gitzo Cf tripod on the floor once):sweat:

make firends with CS members who own many equipment and let her know them as well , then she'll think you're reasonable and your spending isn't that much. Or at most, she asked you to quit having such friends and probably still get to keep your stuff. Comparison helps !

Like many others said, if you're able to show her you do spend $$ wisely etc and have made plans for the future etc, you shouldn't have any issues with her at all. explain to her that since u have a camera,
1) needs better lens to take better photos of her with the 2 lens.
2) needs the tripod to take her photos with beautiful night scence.
3) needs a bag that r both fashionable (which makes her looks good too) & doesnt shout "CAMERAS" (especially during oversea vacations with her).
4) needs a dry box to prolong the life of the investment.
but i dont know how to explain about the extension tube:dunno::dunno:
