No worries lo.... I have said it before and I will say it again.. Without CS, my photgraphy would not have gone to another level...without CS, I would not have met so many like-minded photographers, who are part of this growing community .... Without CS, I would not have met my BLAST LIGHTING kakis & mentors PBS, Toto38/ SLCC :) So, I am just doing my part...someday, you will probably need to do yours too :bsmilie: If we can 'return a favour' back to this community, I mean why not ?

oh yes, I have received your email.

At first look, I was like asking myself where on earth are the numbers  Look hard enuff and viola we will see those characters.

this is where a loupe comes in real handy :bsmilie:

hi AhV, just to check if u have received email? my email add is lepids@hotmail.com

thanks so much for this help. :D

no problems here for 2300 sanyo batts. they've been sitting in my s2 for a whole week now, used on and off. still full bar.
but on busy days i've been known to clear 24 batts a day. so i dont think 2300s have problem. must be just the 2500s.

yes, people .... i ve to agree with Clown tt the 2100 or 2300 should be working well
:)

In view of that, those who have overloaded me with info other than 2500mah, I have removed the details from my list. I hope u will understand as SANYO should concentrate their efforts in solving this particular type of batt. I ve just completed the list and I have very consistent batch numbers based on your info. So, I am sure SANYO will find our info useful. Meanwhile, those who have not given me contact numbers, kindly do so if you want SANYO to contact you directly. If not, you will probably receive emails as that is the only info I ve.

There are currrently 28 CS members affected by this issue..a total of 260 batts

BUMPING THIS UP......there are still a lot of members who have not given their details if I reference your nicks to the earlier thread .... anyway, it's up to you ..unless you have given up on SANYO and not keen to have them replaced. Based on the details given so far, the affected batches/ work weeks are very consistent. If they decide to recall based on these, all hope is not lost :)

cheers dudes !!!

yo bro, thanks for the heads up. let u know.

latest update as at 1215hrs, 21 Oct ..... I will be meeting Japanese Manager of SANYO batteries tmr afternoon :) ... just confirmed the appointment

As at now, we have 28 members affected by discharge issue, total batteries affected 286.

Hurry ! This request for info will cease at mth-end ..... cheers !

Bro user12343 & Nikonsiao .... no worries..PM noted ..list updated.

Will pass all details received so far to Japanese Manager tomorrow :)

BTW, based on the details given, we can strongly assume that all batts in the recent MO should be affected as they were from the same batches/ work weeks. I already have a couple of names. However, not many of you have surface your problems up yet....Dun suffer in silence ...if it is a reasonable request, just pass me your details and I will work on SANYO.

Cheers dudes !!!

Bought some sanyo 2500mAh in last mass order, but never got chance to try whether it last or not, as it take a few more cycle to deteriorate. So can't really report as defect

The other old package I reported is really after some uses and the battery life become shorten and it can really hold charge longer than 2-3 day.

Btw, is it possible to PM me what are the batches affected, interested to know. So will go home and test on that particular batch.

Hi brothers

I deal with sanyo batteries from some of my friend's overstocks. I will like to know the origins of your batteries like where they were imported from. I got a chance to talk to one of the dealers here and they mentioned that some batteries that were parallel imported were grade Bs that are not supposed to be sold in Singapore, if they were to be sold at all in the first place.

more specifically are the batteries you bought the 2500 ones with the plastic casing. From my understanding that is not supposed to be in Singapore in the first place where the official packs are blister packs without plastic casing.

Hmmm .....maybe you know sth we dun  ..but based on what was given ...some of the 'bad' batts were bought from EG, which always give us FREE plastic casing :) When the batts went bad, some of us reckoned that it was pointless to go back to them as they are not the manufacturer. They may not be aware of the discharge issue. As for me, I was expecting some response from SANYO since some of our members have raised the issue earlier. When I noticed that SANYO was not responding to earlier feedbacks given, I approached them. I hope we can all solve our frustration. Anyway, I will ask the manager about the packaging tomorrow. Just curious ... how are your batteries ?

cheers !
