On a normal day-to-day basis, I need a minimum 6 to 7 hours.
But then said, if I am handling a big project on hand (e.g., film shoot), I can go on for two weeks and sleeping on an average of 3 to 4 hours per day. Sometimes if need be, I can also survive on just 2 hours.
After the project is over, I can hibernate in bed for around 2 to 3 days to recover all the lost sleep. But this is very unhealthy and usually, it creates a lot of havoc to my body and internal sleeping clock.
