My camera bag is black and has some stains due to sweat, it's on the side of the
body so unable to wash with water, the bag is too large for washing machine.
How can I remove the stains?

 acid!
maybe you can just try water with detergent.or vinegar.

Hey bro, dun play with acids on fabrics.

You may wish to try baking soda paste with some warm water. It usually works on clothings. Check for colour fastness.

And one more thing, I am not responsible for any damages to your camera bag arising through the usage of the above mentioned.

come on ... stain on the bag gives it character. leave them there

soak it in a pail of water

If you moisten a handkerchief or a towel with a little water and very dilute soap/ detergent, and then rub that over the stain, it should come off. If it really is a sweat stain, then the residue is mostly salt, and there shouldn't be any issues removing that.

After removing the stain, place the bag in a well-ventilated area to dry. Direct sun will also work to kill the smell and any mould that's likely to grow, but I don't know if it'll damage the bag.

I wonder how a sweat stain looks like... are you very bothered by it?

We see it in the army quite often, and though it gives the person a very rough and tough, 'garang' look, I think it also alerts you to the fact that the person hasn't changed his clothes for at least a day.

Still, even that is the norm in the army. We wear the same uniform for days and stink everything up. :bsmilie:

next time use a white bag

or else sweat less
