The F90 setup above uses only AA batteries ... I carry in excess of 100 batteries on trips. The dual YS 120 uses 8 batteries each, lasting for about 4-5 rolls of film. Used batteries are then given away to run other types of equipment (walkman, clocks etc). The S50 and the D70, of course, use rechargeable lithium battery packs.
