Hiccups with CS features?

Hi guys...

A friend of mine actually lost his account due to some weird reason and he also mentioned to me that the "Forgot Password" feature didn't send him any mails after he has clicked it.

Obviously he is having some problems signing into CS.

Will one's account be cancelled if left inactive for a period of time? If not then how come he can't sign in.

A couple of explanations are in order here.

If your friend registered between 3 - 10 August, his account would have been affected by the database crash. Thus he will have to sign up again.

We are also facing some problems with emails accounts hosted particularly on Yahoo and some other free email hosts where email from ClubSNAP goes missing. We are still investigating that.

With regards to inactive accounts, we will start to do regular pruning of accounts which have no posts even after 6-9 months. Just some housekeeping to keep things smooth.
