Welcome to CS,

IMHO, just use you existing equipment (D70 and kit lens) to capture what ever you can, a fast lens may cost more than you D70 itself, and does not mean with a fast lens can delivery a good pictures.

When you know more about action photography, than decide what are the things will suit your budget and usage.

Hope this help.

now the question is only which side would you choose in future?

Would you join the rebellion?

OR

Would you join the Dark Side?

Jack is sure from the dark side but not purely dark. haha

not purely dark? hmmm.... i think he is almost there le.

with the new DSLRs expected this year... suspect he might be able to resist the dark force.
