I just got my Lx off from ebay. It seems to be fully functional but i'm thinking of sending it with some old lenses for CLA. Do you guys know any camera repair shop in Singapore can do it well and how much it may cost? Sorry to post it here but I can't find any similar thread. Thank you.

Shot with MZ-S+DA*300+Fuji Reala (expired Nov 2010)

#1: Scanned by shop.

#2: Scanned by Epson V600

#1 has more noise when cropped, but colour warmer.

I think if you pp this one (V600) will be better than the shop scan (though it was done on a Noritsu).
I prefer the warmer look done by the shop, but it might have lost some details in the dark areas already with the more contrasty scan/pp.
Which one captured more details?

Thanks JK.
I found the shop scan captured more sharpness and warmer.
Have tried different scan settings with the V600 but still cannot get near to the shop scan. Also the V600 does not offer saving of custom setting, unlike my previous Nikon Coolscan.
Guess have to experiment with different setting to get better results.
Any advice from users of V600 much appreciated.

very interesting. I would just let the shop scan lor, saves the trouble of PP. Anyways, which shop did you scan the film? Is it a hi-res scan and how much was it?

Edit: But dammmmmn, you've your own scanner!

Shop opposite (across the road) Gombak station.
Scan in hi-res and charged me less than S$12.00 for regular.

but which is closer to the real thing? The shop scan or the one you scanned yourself?

wokay, she has really pale skin! So I guess the v700 wins in terms of color reproduction (damn that sounds weird). But I love the tones of the shop scan, though a little PP will do the trick. Maybe you can try to profile the colours. There should be some scripts to do so, I think.
