[Hak] Exploring Singapore

Cool shot. Not easy to make a nice shot out of a greyish scene.

Hi Boss, can I know the exact location in Bishan Park where you took this shot ?

Don't mind, how long was the exposure and whether any ND filter was used ?

Thanks a million

Blue hour at Bishan Park. Just minutes before this shot, there were still many kids playing around on the rocks and in the water, luckily they left just as it turned dark!

Thanks! This wasn't even my original location for sunrise. Stopped for a few seconds to shoot this on my way to seeking shelter. :bsmilie:

Shouldn't be that hard to find, try Google Maps or just head there and search. It's not far from Macdonalds.
You can click on the image to go to the Flickr page to view the exif details.
This was taken 2 years ago, can't remember which ND filter I used, but I'm pretty sure I was using one.

Hi there,

Can share, how did you get the wordings so clear in long exposure ?

Did you superimpose with another "fast" shot ?

Thanks

The wordings were stationary if I remember correctly. I may have superimposed the Singapore flag and the couple with shorter exposures.

Flyerworks

Planned to reach the top just in time for the main fireworks, but either I was late or the fireworks was early. As a result, I missed the first few burst, and was only left with the smokey ones when my view was finally unobstructed. I was a bit greedy by setting a 2s exposure, not realising that the capsule in front of me was blur

My Home - A time lapse of Singapore

Happy 50th Birthday Singapore!

Since everyone is doing something special for SG50, I decided to do one myself too. I gave myself 9 months to work on this personal project, my first ever time lapse video. 8 months were spent on shooting, and about 1 month on editing. More than 43,000 photos were taken, but not all were used in this video. As usual, I faced the usual problem of bad weather, and had to return to some locations more than once for better shots.

Special thanks to Alwyn Leow of Jamthatsong for specially arranging the cover of Home as the music for this video.

Please watch the video in HD quality, and hope you enjoy it!
