GRD IV is now $499!! or less

when I was using the first grd when it just came out, saw a guy carrying one too in Japan.
Since then, it's as rare as a dodo.
So it's a niche camera. Even now I guess.

This whole comment is rare as a dodo as well!

Really tempting!!.. I am leaning towards getting this rather than spending on lens(almost same price or lesser, eg 17-50 or 30mm ) to cover the walk around range. :)

Got a question about the GR, coming from a regular Pentax DSLR world (K100D and K30) with the inbuilt body SR: how does the GR perform compared with a, say K30, in terms of low-light indoor situations? I think I am just too spoiled by the SR.

Some marco shots on LEGO's Grand Emporium.

It's took 7 hours for me & my son (5 year old) to assembled.

Just bought a GRD IV yesterday evening (14 May 2013, Tuesday). Thanks to a friend for his poison ;)

Probably a wise choice to sell away my wide angle lens for a GRDIV :)

Any bro can advise Where to get the wide angle converter?

Eh, this is is REALLY good idea lei~ :P

Instead of wide angle, should get GR? :P

A GR+21mm converter is a killer combo, really hard to beat

Agreed! But.... Price must be somewhat close to a DA21.. Then it makes sense, for me. If not... Moot point. LoL~

Not DA 21, most likely DA 14 or DA 21 limited...

Eh? Are you meaning DA14 & DA15? Or? LoL! Confused..

Haha, because Ricoh uses equivalent FL for their cameras. So their 21mm is actually 14 mm on reality...

Been using a GRD II for some years now and the price of the IV and the new GR is so tempting!

Think when more user reviews and shots of the GR come out resistance might be futile.

Errr.... Ya lah... So with adapter, it brings the FL to 21mm equivalent, which is DA21 also la...

DA21's FF-FoV is 32mm, the GR(D)'s WA converter brings it to 21mm FF-equiv. So should compare with DA14, not DA21.
