GRD IV is now $499!! or less

I took the GR out for a spin today, took 768 photos (all in JPG) with one battery! It's really a joy to use and hold, the compact size and easy of use really got me. Here are just a few of what I got today. Will post a lot more under Michael's review thread when I'm done selecting the photos:

what's the lasted pricing for GRD IV?

If everyone starts getting the GRD4, then mine won't look hipster anymore lol.

Then let's all be hip together!

when I was using the first grd when it just came out, saw a guy carrying one too in Japan.
Since then, it's as rare as a dodo.
So it's a niche camera. Even now I guess.

never had the satisfaction of shooting with other cams except ricoh.

Hi, just a quick question. Is there any way to change the setting for lens retract when in playback mode? I wished that the lens can retract say, 5 seconds, after I press the playback button. Not sure if it can be changed, and if can, where? I can't seem to find it in the menus...

My small set of GRD4 pictures.

Any one wants to get one of those color lens ring to brighten up your GRD IV?
Drop me a PM. Thanks!

SLRR selling $427 nett cash

Almost half of the price I bought it when it just launched.

That's really a steal.
It's like when I got my GRD III when the GRD IV was launched :-)
Great camera. Both!

Hi, just checking do you see some flaring or bright lines when you look at the LCD at night when there are point sources of light?

Yes, that is very common and not a concern at all. You will see the same thing even during daytime, e.g. bright sun in scene
