After spending on a FF Dslr? I think a 50 F1.4 will be affordable? And most film shooters know how useful a 50 F1.4 is. Just try it on film once and you will understand how FF users will use it more.

I agree how useful it is coz it is one of my often used lens, having used both the Minolta 50mm F1.4 on film and digital crop factor dslr and the Nikon 50mm F1.4 on full frame DSLR... as can be seen in my blog, hehe... but I still do not discount the fact that a full frame user who does not use 50mm much may opt for the cheaper 50mm f1.7 version for his/her occasional use. Its one less choice to have. But anyway its out of topic to the original threadstarter and I apologise.

Galdor,
One of our bros is actually selling the 3rd party hot shoe adapter and wireless trigger which are pretty cheap. I have used some wireless triggers in studios before too and they worked well. Not sure how hard you've serached and if you have visited our dedicated Alpha user forum.

I agree with Galdor :), For outdoor/indoor this is the set up I have been using. So far works very well for me. Now Ebay is selling a third-party FS-1200 which have a sync outlet. So it will be something like this 5400HS+PT-04 receiver+3rd party FS-1200+Sync Cable

Good stuff!
How did you mount the flash to the softbox? Couldnt really tell from the picture.. But great to have something like that so thatwe are not limited to umbrellas.. :bsmilie:

I'm shooting with an A100 in a studio and do not have a problem with the hotshoe adaptor that I bought over ebay....using a wireless trigger as well

Its a 60cm Camera Flash Softbox that I got from a oversea friend few months back, It has a hot shoe catch below to fasten the camera flash. Now and than I still uses a shoot-thru umbrella depend on location/product...

Or name the Nikon and Canon IS-enabled 50, 85mm and 135mm lenses.

I noe the body IS makes every lens ISable. But the lens in question is the 70-200 focal length. a good used 70-200f2.8 can be gotten for $1100, with IS $2200-2300.
But then there's an F4 version too.

I m not saying which system is better, but the canon system suits my needs better.
I can envisage going to Sony is AF with CZ lens on FF.

Unless i m on FF, a 24-70 is never on y list.

Other factors to consider: I used manual M42/nikon/CZ lenses, so the eos mount is the most adaptable @ d moment(apart from M4/3 wif 2x crop)

Hi, Brothers i join u, It is true the C cannot hv AF for their CZ lens, can only dreams.:bsmilie:

The problem is I am not a good photographer, so I need a adequately good equipment that I find comfortable to use with so as to improve my skills and make my life easier to take better pictures...;)

i believe no one started as a good photographer.. at least for me ;) but we re learning as our shutter counts keep going. i think the most important part of the learning phase is to gain valuable knowledge and more exposure. probably good equipments might improve the overall experience and motivate us to take better pictures, but on the other hand, if our skill is not up to our expectation, we might be discourage as well.. afterall, much money had been thrown into getting good equipments.

just my 2 cents :)

enjoy shooting ;)

like i always advise, buy all 3 brands and u will not miss anything. U get the speed of canon, the accurate flash of nikon and the colors of sony

Err actually after using both, I find that Canon color is better. But it may be because I was using Kit lens with A300.

But AF seems better on 50D but I dun think its fair comparison, cos different class of body.

it is going to be a never ending story/debate.
if u want something good, get all the camera makers to sit down together to come out with their best and put them into 1 body, but that is impossible. It is like asking asking countries around the whole world to become 1 country.
What you like doesn't mean the same to another. We are all different. We have our own preference, liking and needs.

Hi brothers I think u should get the A 900mm + some Cz Lens than that might meets your taste.LOL Trust me the picture u will never regret. Good glass produces good pic.!:sticktong
