Just got mine from Cathay peninsular at $830 include gst.
Check tkfoto and was quote $850 with stock available now.
Check slrr was quote $779, I believe it's include gst as earlier when I email was quote $807 with gst & price drop when it arrived.
No stock available with waiting list ard 10. Those who willingly to wait can approach them as its cheaper

John u mean? A lot of ppl inside den I just browse around n walk off. Nv asked.
Got 1 "A" shop at level 2 near challenger. When I walk in he smile n when I asked abt the Len, face turn black n say no stock yet.
Asked how much say dunno & gave me a TL face. Got bad experience when I bought my silver ep2 with them b4. Box stated black but they paste sticker and wrote silver. My kit lens oso different serial as the warranty card.

Nope. Cos I at funan. If Cathay oso $850 den I will call parisilk as recommended by some brother in the previous post.

Considering that the Four Third version Leica D Summilux 25mm f/1.4 costs some $1.2k, the m43 DG Summilux is quite a good buy at $800+. Quibbling over a difference of a few dollars quoted by different dealers is just not worth it compared to the joy of owning and using such a nice lens.
My first impression is that this lens is optically better than even its older (and much, much bigger) sibling wide opened besides being faster and quieter to focus. :think:

Parisilk still have 3 sets as of last evening... it will cost much less than that of Cathay Photo but don't expect the low, low price of $779 though.

headache. I am still oversea, back only on Sunday. Sure kena wipe out. I doubt they want to take reservation so it is so HOT.

Actually can relegate the 20mm to the 'For Sale' section to recoup back part of the cost of this lens.
