Warn u all first, the lens makes quite a bit of noise when mounted. Also, when you first put the lens on, the aperture is fully opened and the E-P3 screen starts flickering, flicker will stop once you try to focus on something and the aperture blades close in (i think it will mean lesser light falling on the sensor).
I suspect its due to the HUGE aperture and too much light falling on the sensor so the aperture blades always open/close. Not sure if you all will experience it. I tried on 2 copies of lenses, both exhibited similar behaviour. There is a thread over at dpreview also

This is new, don't recall it having the same issue on the G series.
Forgot to mention that it seems to be present when bright light source is present. Just tried it in office i.e. darker environment, no aperture shifting noise nor flicker detected. Will post more updates.

Just called and check already OOS
It's common that they are out of stock, cos they might have customers who will reserved the lens few week before the launched in Singapore

All my Panasonic m43 lenses behave that way on Olympus m43 cameras. $850 is very expensive!! compared to SLR $779.
Perspective a bit off i think, using handphone cam. But ya its quite big
think slightly bigger than the kit 14-42.
