Should be suitable for G9...if not they won't "possibly specifically" say its for G9. hehehe :sweatsm:

So I suppose it does but can't be sure. I'm going HK tomorrow so I'll go check out if there's any protector of the right size, may bring some back!

Well done Coalfox. If you find any protector that covers the whole screen, do buy some back home. I definitely need 2 pieces for my G9 and 40D.
Anyone tested the battery life yet? Mine seems to be out pretty fast. i sure hope its due to battery not break in yet couple with some shots with both LCD and Flash and also for the fact that I've been fiddling with it non stop. Only managed about 50+ shots per charge.
Anyone using the 3rd party battery? Hows the performance? Which one should I go for, 3rd party or original battery? Thanx.
Just got my G9 from SLS yesterday. The original battery is small capacity (< 1000) , and it won't last long. I bought another battery rating of 4800 for $40 (made in japan).
The other day I mentioned $700 for G9 after checking yesterday is actually export version - no warranty. Settle with another shop for $740. Also bought in a screen protector ($10), extra battery ($40). The SD is SCANDISK 2GB.

Good luck with the battery bro. The capacity seems very high. But is it safe? I'm anal about 3rd party batteries after 1 fried my Ixus some time back.
The original battery is good for more than 200 shots. I guess thats more than the number of pictures I'll shoot in a day. At the end of the day, as long as my G9 is safe, nothing else matters. Thanx for sharing.

Can lah.. they very service oriented, just that sometimes way too busy for u... in any case, you're paying for the screen... $10 i think.. that's not a small sum and getting them to cut is quite ok lah.
Does the software works well ?? Stable ??
I'm planning to get the A650 IS cause it uses normal AA batteries. But would have love it more if it could do RAW.

boh pian.. their cost is higher for the G7... probably old stock that they'd already paid for, might have to sell at a loss later on..
