G11 and S90 Arrival and Prices in SINGAPORE !!!!!


S90 - this afternoon from Paris Silk in Katong Village $666 nett inclusive of GST + 8g card + case
 

S90 - $659 include GST, 8GB card, soft Canon pouch, Parisilk HV 04/11/09

OT: LX3 is $679 include GST, only a 8 GB card.
 

need help from people who bought S90... I forgot to ask MS color where can I collect the pouch and SD card. am i supposed to collect from this place? Canon Digital Lab @ Harbourfront, 1 HarbourFront Ave, #01-03 Keppel Bay Tower

Yes, it is at level 1. The level 4 is the service center.

has anyone realised that when your s90 screen is totally black, u can see a glowing white light at the bottom of the LCD screen?
is this normal??

If not wrong, someone has mentioned in a few pages in front. About 3 cases if not wrong...
 

yes, mine is too. Is that a defect on it ? or something common?

battery is charging right now... but I cannot register the cam online! The serial is not recognised. Called the Canon hotline and they are checking for me. :(

Hi, i was the one that mentioned about the lcd screen initially. It is definitely not common to all as i had earlier purchased 2 sets and one had it while the other did not. I managed to have my exchanged for another one that did not have this obvious glow at the corner. This was done through my dealer who was nice enough to do the exchanged. He did mention that he is not 100% confident that Canon would acknowledge the "defect" and replace him with another. But hey, he is a great guy and kudos to him for helping me out!

well, it might have ended to the hands of another customer who is not aware of this "defect"

May I know why would anyone be interested to know where u got the price when it is obviously cheaper to get it at Paris silk for a whole lot less ?

Bought the cam liao. Got from the usual shop at just under $700. Only manage to squeeze $9 from the boss.
 

i got my camera changed too at john316. no questions asked. ups for them. =)
till now my camera is good and running well
have fun taking more pics =)

I'm waiting for the G11 underwater case, might get together!
