Thanks for dropping in That first pic is kinda underexposed and while the tight crop is nice, the portrait orientation would still work better with his ears.

That snow shot is nice but would have been better if you went down just a little lower IMO

Thank you raptor84 for your reply and comments. Sorry for the delay in this reply but I have been having lots of computer problems which now (fingers crossed) are fixed.

I have adjusted the settings of #1 in Lightroom to take on board your comment and have to agree with you the original image was under-exposed.

I hope this is a better presentation.
