Look at it this way. Its about half the price of RX1 but with "faster" AF, OVF/EVF hybrid, PDAF/CDAF hybrid, possibly image quality as good as X-Pro 1 ... even tho with APS-C sensor , compared to FF of RX1.

It will surely be a winner this time. The manual split-focusing brings back memories. Hope this feature finds its way into the XP/Xe-1.

x100 creates quite a storm. so what if the lens is fixed? even with a interchangeable lens camera, I 'permanently fixed' a prime lens to it when I'm travelling, covers >90% of my shots. This camera will suit me nicely.

I sold my X100 long ago because I couldn't live with the slow AF. So I would upgrade but I'm quite happy with my rx100 for now.

Looks very cool! I just hope that the manual focusing will be much more intuitive compared to the slow MF in the X100. That said though, I always felt that the X100 focusing ring is damn small for my fat fingers and thumb. =/

Fuji at ces now mentioned 1.3k.. If fuji take advantage of Singapore like Sony does with the rx1 than could be more than 2k in singapore.

In US rx1 is S$3400 plus

It should be the same as the Fuji x100 when it was first released. Official price 1699 but retail at shops for 1600. I would think it would be around 1899 officially for x100s but u could get it for 1800.
