Doubt it, specs look the same. Anyway, I think the lens is sharp enough for the sensor.

Fujifilm cams for the Japanese market come with two languages you can choose from in the user interface, Japanese and English (nothing else). But you won't have international warranty.

No international warranty? Weird, I bought my X-E1 from HK, comes with 1 year international warranty. Is it only from Japan doesnt carry international warranty?

I bought a Fujifilm camera from Amazon JP directly after NYE and it came with a Japanese warranty only. If you buy an overseas model at the airport in Japan it will have an international warranty.

I just bought the W3 for 9k Yen. It's fun to compose shots with it.

been comparing prices online.
sony cam rx1 and rx100 is abt 25% - 30% cheaper than in sin.
reason due to weak yen against sin $$$
going there early feb. might get either one...
