Fujifilm X-Pro1

we have the dslr people to blame for that. lose the grip and the dslr users will complain about how difficult is it to hold a rectangular camera.

dun like dat lah :) my first SLRs (e.g. FM2) had no grip. one of my faithful compacts (Canon A75) had a grip. Compact or SLR, I've honestly found, over the years, that a grip helps me. YMMV.

3K SGD is way too expensive. I reckon the rumored D400 will be similar in price but is heck a lot more reliable.

Holy crap too expensive. :(

Oh man. If we convert the price it'd be $2.3k for body and $800 for the 35mm f1.4.

I'd have to sell off my entire system to convert. D90, sigma 10-20, nikkor 35mm f1.8g, sigma 70-200 f2.8, sb-600. We. See if it's worth it.. I don't shoot much now too, plus I mainly use the 35.

Really digging what I have read about this cam so far.. $3k for camera + one lens is also quite ex.. Might have to save up for sometimes before I can afford this but nonetheless will definitely want to own one once the price has settled down.

The local pricing of the highly anticipated mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, Fujifilm X-Pro1, is out! It will cost you $2,400 for body alone. Will you get one? TT

which lens would u guys be getting?

MS Color is taking pre-orders. Lenses range from 900-1000  , so body plus lens, 3.3 k

hmmm, 2.4k list... after a few mos and after initial demand/hype has abated, less 15% disc = 2k...

still premium pricing for a lot of folks considering this cam (myself included)... i guess fuji wasnt kidding when they said "premium" camera hehe... more than what i paid for my d7000 when it first came out hmmm

From that point of view you don't get much for your money from Fuji but the Fuji one looks much cooler.
