This will affect the second hand price of XE2
Thats great price. Cheaper than getting at it show. I wanted xt1 but now decided to hold. Maybe I will stick w my d7000 due to financial issue. Sorry cant join fuji gang
Bros, my friend bought a XE2 with the 18-55 kit for $1,744. He got the 56mm f1.2 also for $1,275. Went up to Fuji and redeemed extra battery, 50-230 lens, jacket half case, cleaning kit, tripod, dry box, photo frame and hand grip. Service staff at showroom said the decision to include the 50-230 lens was just made. What a deal.
In what condition that you think XE1 is not enough?
I am also thinking of switching to Fuji X-E2. I hope the price will drop a little in the coming months.
Where can I go to get a good bargain? Or just wait till IT fairs?
Just to ask, I understand X-E1 focusing is slow.. I also consider a 2nd hand cos of budget. Can it take say .. children running around? Or totally not advisable?
I have a X-E1. I went to Fuji showroom at Funan Mall and test drove the X-E2. A few visits with friends who eventually got the X-E2 for themselves. Yes it is a bit faster and there are some nice new features like a bigger and better display back panel, brighter EVF and split image focusing if you go manual focus and so on.
However to me, the improvements did not warrant me upgrading my X-E1 as the camera still serve me well. Instead I plonked down the money for a new X100S instead. I am very happy with my decision and am now playing with two Fuji cameras haha.
