I use a mechanical one. Cheap at 15 bucks from Funan...

i bought gariz soft release button sgd39 bit pain ..
Cant find any thumbs grips for X-E2, anyone know which shop selling and how much ?

i was looking online, it seems chiff cameras sells the match technical brand of thumbs up for xe-2 and the soft release buttons.
kinda pricey though. any user experience to share anyone? thanks!

Look at the b&s market, some guys are dumping the XE1 like it's not able to take good photos after these new cameras (XE2, A7/r) came out :bsmilie:

Yup, it's easy to forget that the lens is the main part to get great IQ n prespective. Nevertheless, I will be keeping the XE1 for awhile and saving to get the 56mm or new ultra wide zoom.

if you are shooting landscapes most of the time, XE1 is more than enough. Model shoot also can becos the model is not moving a lot.

however, XE1 value is going down fast in second hand BNS, soon the kit bundle will go below 1k, if u wanna to sell after sometime, do consider this too.

But honestly, I can't see the difference in the pictures I took using a DSLR 5 years ago and the latest and greatest of this year's camera.

Unless I always open up all my pictures at 100% and look at it with my nose touching the screen.

My crystal ball says they will release the new X-tran sensor together with the new XPro2.
I say this cause it makes sense to make your flagship model to have the best and on the top of the pyramid.
With this in mind I don't think we can see an updated XE2 this year, not far cause XE2 was just release last Nov.
