Got mine 2 days back. Got the body plus the 35mm. Almost git the xt1 but decided on the xe2 instead. Preferred the rangefinder style and the 500 difference for the same engine. Havent start shooting yet. Will use it fir my daughter first few days at playgroup....

I got my camera from HK since a friend was there and she helped me. 3 of my friends got their X-E2 kits from Funan and then went to the Fuji showroom to redeem their freebies which till end of March include a 50-230mm zoom lens on top of what is published on their flyers. Good time to buy no need to wait for IT fairs and squeeze with the crowds, parking and sales people who have to attend to many and no time for you.

I was told by my Fuji X-T1 seller in KL that Fujifilm Malaysia already stop bringing in the X-E2 as they only concentrate on X-T1 now.
Not sure if Fujifilm SG will also do the same in near future

Not sure why they do that?
The sales person at Fuji did say they have this special offer bcos X-T1 just out and they did not want to jeopardize the sale hence lower price for the X-E2 + lens.

My friends paid $1744 for the X-E2 with 18-55 kit. Comes with all the free gifts listed on the flyer such as extra battery, 16G SD, hand grip, photo frame, storage box, tripod etc. For March and April Fuji is also giving away the 50-230 zoom lens.

X-Pro1 is also a good deal at $1780 for the body and 35mm f1.4. Fuji will throw in the 18mm f2 lens till end April.

Using the Match Technical EP-9S on my XE2& it indeed does provide the extra stability and hold. You gotta have to try it to understand the improvement.

Have the Lensmate version for my X100s but the Match Technical provides a even better hold in my opinion.

Yeap , indeed not cheap. But there are times when u get what u pay for and this is one of them. Generally though , Lensmate is really good enough match technical is a luxury in my opinion.

For the Lensmate I'm not sure where to find it locally, maybe someone else can help.
For Match technical , u can find it at Chiff cameras (I was just there today ) as they are the local distributors.

I do find the Match technical thumbs up on my XE2 better than the Lensmate on my X100s, but end of the it's subjective I guess. The Lensmate is definitely good enough , being better than most of the cheaper knockoff versions on EBay.

Lensmate's around SGD 9x plus shipping. U can find a few friends to save on shipping. The Match technical is around $16x to $17x locally or u can also order direct from the website.
