Then you don't understand the specification of your camera maximum frame rate. Not even X-T1 (max 8 fps), or Canon 5D3 or Nikon D800 have 10 fps burst. You need to get OMD or 1DX or D4 lah.

i am not talking about fps....
i just want to do 1 click and take multishot 10 shot

canon have this option 2 shot - 10 shot

Able to have burst mode is related to the maximum frame per second the camera can handle.

It the same, press and hold the shuttle button (one click) for multiple shot. Change the Drive mode on your X-E2 to continuous mode and try it out, you will not get 10 continuous shot.

Hold many shot in one burst also depend on the camera buffer to hold the images while writing to the card, once the memory buffer is full, it will not take any more shost until it writes to the card.

i dun want burst
i want set timer on my cam
then let it shoot 10 time

The only way is to use Continuous Shooting Mode (Burst), Select "High" frame rate, press the Q-button to go to Q-menu and enable the Self-timer. You will get whatever maximum frame rate (approx 7 fps according to spec).

I used to own both the 550d and x-e1. Yes, 550d do 10 shots timer. Unfortunately I dun recall being able to do so with x-e1. Looking at x-e2 specs i believe it can't too.

IIRC, it seems that once u move above 70d, you will lose the 2-10 shots timer feature in Canon models. Currently using 6d, can't do that either.

Have you guy got xe-2 from ebay. Self collect at $935 local set . Wonder whether is it a good buy .

If self collect and cash on delivery, maybe you can inspect the set first. Otherwise too risky for me.

has been using x-e2 for a month. still I cant figure out some of its function.
is there a blog/website that show case each and every function/button.

when i use manual mode, the exposure compensation dial become useless and the EV keep jumping around ....

That's normal. it should be the same as ur DSLR. once u r in manual mode, EV will depends on the aperture, shutter and iso u set. Think having a EV dial now kind of confuse u.

x-e2 got the af illumination on/off , what is that for ?

Maybe it's because of your metering settings? Is it spot metering?

This is the description in X-T1 manual which I think should be no different to your X-E2

In "multi", the camera instantly determines exposure based on an analysis of composition, color, and brightness distribution.

You can check your operating manual to compare with other modes.
