yup, xe-2 have the same sensor as x100s but i looking for 50mm equivalent , so 35mm lens is the nearest i could get

I used to have both lens..
In the day.. I always use the 18-55mm lens but the 35mm is used only at night..

The so called kit lens is easily one of best kit lens you can ever get in any system..

Did u go to the Fuji showroom to test out the 2 lens?

Well, I dun know if it's out in stores yet. But Fujifilm has announced that the lens is out. I'm sure u will see it in our stores soon.
Maybe can call and ask.

Ahh... thought out! The news on XF56mm was out on Monday, it will officially be in store in February 2014 and XF10-24mm March 2014.

Any guess roughly how much it would be? Since it's f1.2 I would imagine the price is not for a hobbyist like me.
I just hope Fujifilm also put other variant like f1.8 to make it a little more affordable.

Around USD 1k, which is a very good price. However Sg usually will be slightly more expensive.

I compared the price of lens and body with Amazon.com and it's about there. So, it means 56mm f/1.2 might be selling about $1.3k or 1.4k in Singapore. I'm glad it doesn't starts with 2!

Much cheaper than m4/3 equivalent f1.2 lens which cost around usd1600.

Its f/1.2 for APS-C which otherwise means the DOF is equivalent to Full Frame f/1.8

Anyone purchase the fuji xc 50-230mm? How is it? Looking at getting a tele lens...this seems to be much cheaper compared to its xf 55-200mm counterpart...
