Anyone purchase the fuji xc 50-230mm? How is it? Looking at getting a tele lens...this seems to be much cheaper compared to its xf 55-200mm counterpart...

I can wait for the new constant f2.8 tele lol

I had in mind that the 55-200 was a sharper lens than then 50-230mm?

No doubt the 55-200 is sharper that the 50-230. The question is does the IQ difference between the two justifies the price difference, especially an amateur or hobbyist shooter like most of us to use.

do test the lens many times, my fren used it twice and had to send in to fuji for repair, fuji end up replacing a new lens for my fren.

Anyone try the new grip for XE-2, any feedback? Is this available now in Singapore?

I got mine from i-shoot. Great quality. Protects the base of the camera, got slots to access the battery and card compartment.
Quick installation and release to my tripod because of the acra head.
Only thing but can live with is, hands feel cold when holding it because it is stainless steel.

I-shoot is my 2nd option. I don't like the small vertical plate on the opposite side. I just read this is removable?

downloaded the app, haven't test it, but i doubt it can be use, not until a firmware upgrade at least. you have tried it and won't work?

It's been working perfectly for me...using iphone 5..latest firmware on xe2...

Just be sure you click OK the name u set on ur xe2 on the iphone fuji app every time u open it

Question about using the XE2.

Is it possible to set the Face Detection in one of the fn (function button)?

So far I need to go to the menu to set this ON.

Just saw this thread... Its in italian... but the filming is good and towards the end, how the photographer recovers the details from the XE-2 is quite impressive.
