dunno wat FujiFilm is up to. doctored fotos of the D200 to a S5. doesn't even look like the real thing.

6mp... i think its fine by me. easier to handle than a 10mp D200!

I am also waiting for the official word.

If they did not upgrade the sensor for s5, I will probably be very happy with my S3. At least it is not superceded by a new super duper sensor, tempting me to upgrade.

anyway I am finally going to take lots of pictures using my S3 when I go to Japan next month. Hopefully the s3 will be as good as the E1 was to me in Korea

S2 is the only fuji dslr worth buying. the S3 was and is a disaster - you can't sell it off now for $1500. S5 is just borrowing nikon's technology nothing to sing about. wait till they announce the price you better give up on fuji. by feb 07 D300 will be out.

the D200 already ~S$2.7k, how can the S5 be near 3k? i bet it'll be above $4. :bigeyes: win-win for the companies only but consumers r the suckers...(so exp) :cry:

i'm quite surprised that it still remains a 6MP DSLR & the sensor is juz a refinement from S3, kind of reminds me of Kodak 14n & SLR/n sensors. :sweat:
