gee, thanks.;)

I love taking eye macros...lol:cool:

Anyways I'm just hoping if any of you has any experience of being overcharged/ cheated in one way or another in Sim Lim, please PM me to let me know. Because I'm going down to CASE for a walk-in one of these days, and I just hope to have some more incidences to back up my story to convince them that they need to do something about SLS. Because I certainly heard a lot of bad things about this 'tourist hot-spot' 'household name' ever since I actually realised I was overcharge...Rawrrrrr

Oh yeah, just btw, has anyone tested S5700's stabilisation before? I'm jsut wondering if it actually works and how it works...geez. Because it appears to reduce shake by setting high shutter speeds and I'm not sure if that's effective... ;p

I'm not sure how CASE will handle cases like this. I'm sure this kind of "slaughtering" has been there for long time d. It is surely giving SG a bad name, especially to tourist who found that they have been "cheated" there. Because words will spread and I am sure you won't recommend any of your friends to go there to get cameras anymore...

SLS always have tis problems. too many shops der. even credible shops do overcharge a lot der. no matter what, they are still salesmen, trying to earn a living. also, do not always think that you are a regular der, they wont overcharge u. never take things for granted.:)

i suggest, just enjoy using your camera. :) i know i am, not too bitter anymore about paying a lot more for it. you even got more "freebies", i only got a couple of sd cards and a crappy bag.

i'm from Malaysia and my frenz told me that sls got many IT and camera shop. i can find better camera with cheap price. since i 'cheat' by salesman at there, i think i will change my mind. i agree that they sell thier camera with price as high as possible but not more overcharge SGD200!!! as a cosumer, i think we must check the price first before buy the camera such as this website. i think this is good website because can know everything about camera include the price.
what can i do now is just enjoy my 'camering' fun:cool:

all these photo is first time i used S5700. i think have to improve my skill again because not remain good enough
please give me some comment

actually, im having some problems photographing people because sometimes their eyes go blue (weird, not red). is anybody having the same problem? what can i do to fix this?

i definitely dont have such problems..

Hmm, actually, one of my major reasons for deciding to go to CASE is well, I think that's not the proper way to do business. I mean it's like only ME today, but imagine how many more people are gonna end up making a transaction they'd somehow regret if nobody does anything to change things.

I'm not really that interested in recovering my loss now also, because that thought kind of died down from exhaustion in hunting Fujifilm down and then calling the shop up and then going down and even to the extent of troubling others lar... LOL

But I still wish to at least bring attention to the fact that there are a lot of such issues lying around to CASE, hopefully they'll do something lor.

Meanwhile,
well,
yeps,
at least I DO grow to like my S5700. ;) ;)

One of my tries with Depth of Field... HEEX
What puzzles me is that, I read up that low f-stop values give the DOP effect. But I don't always get them. HMMM beats me... =X But S5700 is only my first digicam ma... =Pp

Just BTW, I don't think the picture stabilisation does work.:D

It's more of software stabilisation in the sense that they make use of fast shutter speeds to reduce blur so it's not exactly the same type of IS you find in Canon/ Nikon/ Panasonic/ etc. models I guess... And software stabilisation does not really work. HMMsie.

did u using super-macro? i think u too close to object

Any recommended place for getting the mentioned cam? :) It seems that its pretty much limited and a couple of shops like MSColor and Cathay don't have it anymore.

I called up Alan Photo Trading, price is much better though.

WAHHH... Singapore IS really, really small sia.

Haha, anyways, I heard that Bargaincity prices could be bargainable, I heard. Maybe if anyone's interested in buying they can go down and take a look? Or maybe just see what Courts has to offer, HEARD they have some lowest-price-guranteed kinda thing too.

Just don't get your S5700 like above 400 or something. =.=

Anyways, I'll share some photos I took at TPJC's student-organised Runway.

It's ULTRA hard taking photos in really low-light siasss.

My FAVOURITE design+costume of the night:

Can anyone tell me how not to get eyes like this? =.=
And why do this happen? I seriously don't know... And it's so irritating.

Kinda glad I went. It was actually pretty good.

Bargaincity's price is pretty much standard though. Though their package is customizable, the price deduction ain't really much.

Anyway, those who wish to get the S5700 from Bargaincity, please note that you'll have to notify them 1-2 day in advance if you wish to pick up the unit at the shop.

if you happen to find a wide-angle lens, tell me.. want one too.

im having similar flash problems.. what to do with it? also, im not having trouble with low light.. just find the right combination la.. :)
