that's rob big time man... did you buy also many acessories that's why so high price? which shop you bought it from ?

got two hi-speed 1gb sd cards and a generic bag. i don't feel too bad about it because im sure its still going to retail more here. he he he. im not sure which store la.. it was in sim lim square. how do i post pics?

i brought it cost around SGD624 include GST!!!
but i also brought len protector (UV) and 54mm extra len (more zoom 0.45x) with cost SGD105.
so total is SGD729...

do not make hasty purchase at sls. compare a few shops. always what is with the bundle. price before or after gst. do not be tempted by the cheap purchase of camera, as sls salesman will mark up prices of other accessories. if not, u can always seek the advice for the price at clubsnap before making any purchase.

like i said earlier, i am also considering the S6500 and this S5700. now i realised that both are in different price range. so can't really compare. but i am more for the S6500 now.

not sure about the effect ccd

why s5700 with 10x optical zoom plus other function still with such low cost? i mean below than SGD400. i consider it as half-SLR camera. i ask for other camera like panasonic TZ-2 or TZ-3 also around SGD500. it is i got the wrong information?

btw, i took that sunset from a car moving at 120kph on the highway.
