Fujifilm S100FS user feedback

Those who shot film before, how was the slide film simulation modes? Good anot?

Used the film simulation before & don't feel much difference;p
Instead use the tone setting(Use Soft for portrait & hard for scenery).
Feel that result better but not much flexibility like film simulation where
they indicate +1 or +2 to the tone, color, ISO, etc...
Maybe other people can help on this

Too boring so try taking photos of ants(Hoping to find dragonfly or housefly as target but in the end only found ants ;p)

Hey, the moon shot reminds me of one I took a couple of months ago:

I was quite shocked at first to see what the S100's zoom was capable of...

Any one of you try RAW, seem Finepix software not very good in editting/converting.

You could still use the software from Fuji, but you need to update for the "CCD-RAW data Conversion Function Updater for Windows Vista/XP/2000/Me/98SE". As seems many PC can't read RAF natively. I sure it can change to TIFF or JPEG.

Alternatively, I am using "IrfanView". Image viewer, but you too need to get additional plugin which is free.

Hi I try taken a shot @ the moon also(almost get kill by wife for that as she something like "BO LIAO, NOTHING TO DO AT NIGHT IS IT!" ;p)
Found that you can see the cradle at the edge of the photos but when it come to the centre, seem a bit blur & can't seem to capture the cradle?
Seen some of the moon photos @ CS & can see the cradle very clearly(with DSLR & teleconvertor somemore)
Anyone know why?

Nowadays very hard to get her to stand still & take photos,
always siam or run away whenever I take out my cam:embrass:

The only photo so far that I can accept is this(running away from me somemore)
