Yes yes!!!! I very free still!!! But mst preampt me cos camera very heavy!!! Hahahaha:D

Hi banhock,
Your pic on the dragonfly was very nice.
Did you use any closeup lens or just a simple zoom & crop of the original photo.
Can see that the noise level of the pic a bit high, is it due to the high ISO or the cropping of the pic?
BTW nice try:D

To PhotoProZero,
My camera bag also becoming more & more heavy due to the extra battery(S100FS spare & 2 sets of AA batterys for my flash) & others stuff. If include tripod even worse.
Feels like 3-4 kgs liao;p

To armadillo,
Try RAW once, slow to capture & need to convert to jpg plus file size soo big.
So in the end give up;p

Hi Soulxion

The dragonfly was taken with setting at auto and macro mode on. Had to be very patient, slowly move in close to take this little guy. Sorry about my poor cropping software. Cannot seem to get it to become another proper photo.

Had alot of problem getting use to this camera, alot of out of focus pics, due to hand shake, or too long exposure, subject movement etc. Just keep trying and trying and hope something works.

Most of the pics of animals and humans are taken on portray setting and apperture priority.

Hi Ban,

You may consider buying some close-up filter for your close-up shot.
I just brought my Close-up filter from the following website
http://store.tagotech.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_40&products_id=171
Found this from one of the Buy/Sell: Photography Accessories section
Found that it's cheap($9 for 4 pcs ) & good(need really thorough cleaning of the filters)
Still testing & currently don't had much opportunity to try it out yet;p

the filter seem quite cheap, no harm to try :)

testing on moon just now :)
moon16.jpg

Don't know that S100FS can take such photos of moon:bigeyes:
Can S100FS focus on the moon? As it's so far & I don't know if the camera can calculate the range.
Did you use full 400mm zoom with 2 x digital zoom to take this photo?
Can try taking on 14 Sunday(Lantern Festival) which should be a full moon by then:)

just testing handheld, with manual mode, speed: 1/200, F6.4, ISO 200, full zoom + 2 digital :)

sorry but I feel that your moon is not sharp enough, is it due to the "+2 digital" ?:dunno:

I think it must be due to armadillo using handheld + 2xDigital zoom.
The second try seems much better.
I suspect that he must be using tripod liao:D
ISO also play a part as first shot was using ISO200 but second shot is using ISO100.

Actually both taken using Handheld.
First moon not so sharp, maybe due to slightly cloudy, also not full moon yet.
Second moon, since fullmoon, and clearer sky, so shutter speed increase to 1/320.
So far, hvn't really try to using tripod yet.
Ok, agree maybe the optical zoom effect a little bit :)

Those who shot film before, how was the slide film simulation modes? Good anot?
