wa's e new pic sharing thread going to be called? collecting my new PC tonight. to cut a long story short, e only thing i could reuse from my old PC is my CPU, DVD drive & hard disk...... ewwww....

I was outstation for a dept retreat...... so i got to go round to reccee as i'm the organizer..me window view is also nice..but just that no time to take..cos back in the hotel very late..go out very early..

it's quite near to us.. about 3 hours flight...

anyway, here are some pics from 1st lesson.
learnt spot metering & some basic stuff.

shot in F8 aperture wrong.

shot in F4 aperture correct.

shot at 1/250, too dark

shot at 1/125, much better

hmm.. you are right lah.. i miscalculated.. it's HK.. think it's 4 hours flight.. didnt count the hours cos totally KO...

but too bad.. i didnt manage to catch the night view.. cos was having meetings throughout..

but that pic a bit at the lower side..

Bro, aperture can be wrong one meh?? It's just a matter of what effect you want when you play with aperture (focus vs bokeh). Also to certain extend to step down a bit for sharper images.

The shutter practice is a good one :thumbsup:
I also need to practice more.

That's 3.5 hours from Singapore Where are the city shots? Post more, haven't been to HK for a long time.. at least half a year already.
