Its definitely a great little camera; happy snapping, cheers!;)

Just got one for my birthday, Great camera. Anyone can recommend a Camera case for it? Need one that can store extra battery. And also, anyone registered for extended warranty? Was wondering if it is necessary.

the extended warranty is only $60.. i would recommend to go for it.. it's only valid when registered within first 14 days of purchase...

I've applied for the extended warranty; thought its a great deal for only $60. Cheers!;)

Wah, not bad for a birthday present :bsmilie:

Nice , I should be getting this!

My f-200 has a slight clicking sound in EXR auto mode. Does any one else has this click sound? NOt sure if this is normal.

Normal. That is the optical stabilisation and is permanently on in exr mode. It stops when you switch to "p" mode. :)

Try out this camera, this camera is really pretty excellent noise control. ISO800 can be used most of the time without sacrificing too much quality.

The only pity I find is that they could have come out with another camera with similar sensor to rival Canon's G10, with hotshoe of course.

PC Show too crowded. didn't go

bro..
The canon G10 has a 1/1.7" sensor with a ridiculous 14.7MP
The Fuji has a larger 1/1.6" sensor with lesser 12 megapixels. Physically the Fuji already wins on pixel density, hence noise performance...

In time to come, I'm sure they will. The EXR is a pretty new technology...so one step at a time. I'm quite glad they released it in a mid-level camera so it's affordable (at least for me).

I'm more convinced that this model is what I want to buy.

Hi Spikes, I am a newbie too and got my camera from the IT show retailing at $499 with the usual freebies. There are only 2 colours (black or sliver).
