i had a softie on my x100 too but lost it after a few days... they have a bad habit of coming loose! Quick solution is to dab some nail varnish and that'll certainly help it stay in!

Definitely need the threads when I have to use the shutter release cable for NDP fireworks. The one i have is pretty ok and it has stayed put.

16GB card - $20
Dry box - $25
Screen protector - $10
120 free prints - 120 x 0.30 = $36
'Tall' Tripod - $30 (last IT show they gave a pip squeak tripod i think at most $20)
Card Reader - $10
Cleaning Kit - $5
Fake Leather Case - $34 (based on eBay price without postage cost)

Around $170 so $209 difference is $39 (the price to pay fujifilm to gather all the goods)

Yes it is not real leather.

and....please see my previous post about the case even though it is packed with Fujifilm box. Like i said, better than nothing and it is free so be happy. Hahhahah

It is like saying the Toyota Altis is a Lexus. Maybe under same company but the quality? Definitely not the same. The price reflect that. This time it is sold by gain city. HN was for the last IT show.

I was in Phuket last weekend - at the big mall next to Jung Ceylon there is a big camera shop on level 2.

Price was about $1370 based on rough conversion - no real leather case tho. Payment by card accepted - incl Amex.

Was sorely tempted... if I had been in Bkk i suppose might have been able to get a better deal.

Wonder if we can get a Thai VAT refund on this too? that would have been great
