sold my extra case for USD 100. :)

Whoa. Not bad. Gonna sell mine too ...when it arrives

hehehe.... earlier I sold the x100 for USD 2290....

Hi,

How did it sell it ? Thru ebay and to overses ?Thanks

I don't think can sell so high now since the stocks are becoming more readily available.

Hi Vengels, I very much prefer this more elegant solution. It is a purposed made UV glass that has preapplied adhesive so that it can stick over the elements. That solves my Macro issue as I don't need to have to remove the filters. Even if I get the lens hood set, it will not be an issue if I add filters

I got this fr orient photo at SLS. Cost 35 & MIJ. Been using it for >1 week and the glass is still sticky. Very convenient. I wont be gettin the lens adapter until this falls off, which i hope wont happen.

interesting! is there a brand for it? won't it fall off, cos under this kind of hot weather, i have experience of adhesive from double-sided tape failing me at the most inappropriate time...

2.5 months and counting. Still stuckfast. :) Good stuff!

Thanks bro for the poison. I just got one from Philip too. :bsmilie:

i had a softie on my x100 too but lost it after a few days... they have a bad habit of coming loose! Quick solution is to dab some nail varnish and that'll certainly help it stay in!

Use those white tapes for pipes. They work great! Nail varnish? Will the soft release be easily removed when one day we need to remove it ah?

I too just got a soft release and its fom chiif. Using a slim optech strap. All i need is to get the filter adapter kit.

Am flying off tomorrow evening and will finally get a good road trip out of the X100... But does anyone know where I can get 49mm ND and CPL filters? Need to get them by tomorrow afternoon before I fly off as my partner is using the NEX and also needs 49mm filters. Is Hoya good enough?
