Hi everyone. I live in the Netherlands and I'm coming to Singapore soon for business. Can you guys please tell me where I can buy this camera + zoom kit for a reasonable amount (i.e. closer to US (adorama, amazon etc) price)? Would the camera+lens be genuine buying from these places or would the quality/origin be dodgy? Thanks a lot in advance! 
Haha, I am not sure about that. Usually one will collect a brand new set from their "store room", but of course, more often than not the price is higher than Funan.

You could try places like T K Foto, SLRR, Jo316, these are just some of the more popular shops in Singapore. Then again I am not sure if there will be stock when you arrive in SG because as far as I know, very few places are actually carrying the zoom kit. Even those that do, have it in very limited quantities and there isnt much news when the next batch will come in
Perhaps you might like to drop them an email and request to reserve a set?
Have not had a chance to test out the kit zoom and to compare with the 3 prime lenses directly, but based on this detailed website reviewing all the 4 lenses, I think I will pass this kit zoom and grab a 18mm F2 prime (or wait for the new 23mm F1.4). While the kit zoom lens is very versatile with OIS, the 3 prime lenses has a lot better resolution than the kit zoom lens with for each focal length as comparison.
Though it is still better built than most competitors' kit zoom, but the price is a bit high as compare to the 3 superior prime lenses. Unless the price will drop to a decent price point, I think the 3 prime lenses are still better choices.

HK price was alot cheaper for the 35mm prime kit package, but for local stores, it is currently around $1.9+ (depends on your bargaining skills). Normal price is $1,999 (X-E1 with 35mm prime).
This is $400-$500 cheaper than the SRP of $2398 stated in SITEX.
Thus, if you take the same assumption of $400-$500 cheaper for street price, the actual X-E1 with kit zoom will be around $2,099 - ($400 or $500) = around $1,600 - $1,700.

I've been trolling this thread for a while waiting for the XF18-55 to launch. Now that it's finally here, the cheapest I've found for the body + zoom kit + 16gb sd card is $1786. <not sure if it's appropriate to state which shop but so far, all the prices I to have been CS recommended shops. >
Wondering if anyone has a better price or any advice to wait?
Looking to get a half case + top cover and an eye-fi x2 pro as well. Anyone has recommendations?
