Just can't make up my mind on which bag to buy.

mine's a video camera bag. you should be able to get a better one ;p some of the lowepro bags at Cathay Photo looks good. But remember to bargain! :)

The protruding part means the UV filter needs to be removed.

got mine too on saturday at AP. just toyed around with it...the software is stilll in the box.

cam - 1200
128CF - 85
sanyo batt x 4 - 10

did i get ripped off for the CF and batt?

went down to carrefour to get the rayovac batt charger, but the price has already gone back to 79.90:cry: ... got a lousy GP that needs to charge for 14hrs instead...well..i'll just load up on more batt. ;p

u got a good price for the CD and Sanyo batt. Have you tried the video mode using the card? How long a clip can it capture?

want to ask... are there any free gifts bundled with the camera?

i'm thinking of getting the adapter to attach a UV or some other lens, but was offered an ugly silver one by AP. i've read that the original come with the wide angle or tele lens only, so which one is more useful? would appreciate if you can list down some basic lenses with prices....i should be getting them later this month, or earlier.

hmm.... quotes for the Fujifilm wide-angle converter were $190, $200 and $210 respectively by AP, MS Color and CP. Not sure how firm the quote from AP is though.

I didn't inquire abt the teleconverter cos I wasn't as interested ;p but it's likely to be similar in prices.

As for usefulness, I find the Fujifilm wide-angle-converter more useful (cos it's harder to find a cheap one which has good quality and doesn't cause vignetting). I would be looking for alternative teleconverters (1.5x is not much). However, do note my point above abt the inability to use the wide-angle conversion lens with the UV filter on.

It's a 1.9x tele-converter. :)

hmm..... I'll try to explain it ;p

the protruding part of the converter will prevent you from screwing onto the UV filter. cos the protruding part will hit the glass of the filter.

The normal S602Z lens is 35mm-210mm right? after attaching the wide-angle conversion lens, how much is the focal length?

BTW, how to calculate the value? The brochure states X0.79. Is it 35X0.79=27.65?
 

it'll be roughly 28mm.
 

fastwatch , you bought the 602 @ AP @ 1200 rite? Did you bargain or they quote you @ this price? Was wondering should i get it @ MS for 1260 c/w minitripod or 1250@AP(i was quote @ this price)

btw, i was thinking of getting additional

The minitripod isn't of much use for the heavy camera ;p but you could bargain for LCD screen protectors at MS Color.

SM is selling at $90 or $95 at MS Color. UV filter is cheaper than AP at $8.
