:)

hi,

can share the actual price? i'm not sure whether to pre order or buy on the actual day itself...issit launching on 31 May?

anyways, did you just place a deposit or pay the whole amount upfront?

thanks

he charged me 1200. paid deposit only so that i still retain my bargaining power in case something crop up or i changed my mind for another. think they'll be in stick on friday 31/5 and start the promotion on sat 1/6. wonder if AP offer compatitive price for the microdrive 1GB? lowest price @ storage 389, instock called to confirm. i think it's oem though. may consider the image tank. price difference only 10 @ 399.

i shd be going down this friday afternoon to get the camera, assuming they release it on that date. any add on lenses(such as polariser?) that i shd get? batteries?

would appreciate if anyone could let me know the cost of these lenses as well

does anyone knows how good this camera is when taking night scenery ? or night shots ?

it has up to 15 seconds exposure which is good enough for normal night scenes.

Scum to temptation went to order the 602 @ AP today.
Got it for $1200 and $400 for a 1GB Microdrive full kit.
Expected to collect on Fri or Sat :)

Interesting. I thought all IBM drives including microdrives come with 3 yr warranty.

Thanks anyway.

Are you getting any other stuff for the 602?

This will be my first DC so thinking of getting filters.

Any idea how much is the 55mm lens adapter? For those who are collecting their cams this weekend, do update us on the price of the adapter. ;)

there's an OEM 52mm adaptor. The Fujifilm 55mm adaptor comes only with the wide-angle lens or teleconverter.

yup, do up date us on the details! :)

Not to spoil the atmosphere here... I've said previously I'm eyeing the S602Z as my next digicam... however, something interesting came up... Nikon Coolpix 5700! 5 megapixels, 8x zoom, EVF, flip-out type LCD! These are the stuffs I was looking for in my first digicam, the G2. :)

I haven't read the review or seen the sample shots yet, but on those 4 features alone, it sounds yummy.

:Later,

sure. but i feel that the model is an outrage: direct replica of s602z. though looks good on paper, must also cost a bomb. around 1200 Euro dollars.

It will surely cost more -- perhaps much, much more -- than the S602Z. But it may well be worth more value for money. :)

Anyway, where did you get the 1200 Euro price?
