They should have Aperture priority considering they have the aperture selection ring on the lens.

This beats them all. This is going to be a winner for people like me who have been praying and pleading for a manufacturer to listen to us and I am not surprised Fuji listened. Solid camera, reminds me of the range finders I was carrying in the good old days. Straight cut and no foolish bells and whistles.
Agree! Buy buy buy ;p 2011 seems so far away, hehehe ...

There's an "A" on the aperture ring, that's how you switch to Aperture Priority <== mistake, should be Shutter Priority.
To use Aperture priority, should be switching the shutter dial to "A"

from Nikkei.com the price of this product will be in the range of 120,000 - 150,000 Japanese Yen... if it's true it'll be US1400 - US$1750. :o

Such a charming camera. Initially, I was wondering why was a FILM camera featured on the front page, ha.

i just need a nice leather case and strap to go with this

Never expect Fuji to come out with this... brilliant camera.
I don't even mind that it's not interchangeable lens - no worries about dust.

If the price is right, I almost can see myself kissing my GF1 goodbye...

Finally Fuji has brought back the retro styling. I am impressed. Thought I will never see these kind of design back in compacts again.

first nikon D7000, now fujifilm X100... so many nice camera to buy....

well done, fujifilm!

Its beautiful.....

If not for the fixed non-interchangable lens, if would have been a new "game changer" after the canon 5D2.

I have not owned any Fuji cameras but I got to say this is love at first sight ! Simply goddamn awesome. I'm starting to save my pennies till early 2011~!

sorry. what is the focal length in "35mm" terms?
