Yup as a backup/casual cam, it doesnt need to hv changeable lenses. Most importantly compact and good IQ.

Sometime back I was considering whether to get a Sony Nex5 as spare for traveling purpose. But looking at this, I like the body design, can seriously consider.

actually nothing against that sensor.
is still very good performer up to iso 3200.. which would be sufficient for most users anyway.
With fuji's tweaking the color should be even better!

Why not? A500 is using 12mp sensor and can go up to iso12800 too.

Maybe thats the sensor they using.

Of course 128000 is too outrageous. Must be typo.

Looks like fuji has pressed all the right and desirable buttons (for me at least)...well done fuji! The camera looks beautiful and yet modern.

If the samples and price are good, I'd love to get one...
