okie, i got a couple more questions that was PMed to me. good news and bad news....
the bad news:
(a) the 2-sec delay - sorry, CSers. there's no way to change the setting. i've cycled thru the menu, and there's nothing dat allows users to change it. anyway, the RC-1 remote also has this 2-sec delay. which, IMO, is not a bad thing. but i guess some users want instant action. however, remember that u must trigger the remote LOS. ie - as mentioned, u'll be captured in the pic with an outstretched hand.
the good news:
(b) you can CHANGE batteries! at the prompting another buyer, i dismantled the remote. pretty easy! took me less than 10 secs to dismantle the whole thing. all u need is a precision phillips (cross-head) screwdriver - the type u used to tighten spectacle screws. turn ur remote ard and u'll find a tiny screw near the trigger. just unscrew it and the whole remote will separate. be careful tho... dun lose the screw. the remote uses 2 3V watch batteries which are easily obtained from any watch shops. the whole thing, once dismantled, looks like this.
hope this helps?
