But by 6PM you'll see many tripods at the Esplanade Bridge.
By 7PM+ it's gonna be very packed.
That's what I see every year.
So if you are going, I suggest you leave home early, chop space, read book or smth (Bring lantern lamp if u have)

FilterFunk said:i had gone to 2 of your 3 locations to shoot before, personally prefer option b over option c. option c you had to juggle with a small crowd of people (happened to me during ndp) but option b wise, there is lots of space for you on preview, and probably a large crowd across a relatively long area of the waterfront on the actual parade.
option b gives a wider angle of shots at least to me. btw, how do you get to location c, if i do not happen to drive? any tips?

A few likely locations for taking the NDP fireworks at National Stadium, keeping in mind where the fireworks will be facing and the distance between their firing location and photo taking location :
a) Just outside Costa Rhu Condo (waterfront (for nice reflection of the fireworks colours), indoor stadium (partly) and Oasis as foreground).

From the info I gather about the brightness and concentration of high level fireworks in the air, for those with wide angle and cameras with small apertures (F/16 and smaller) , then shooting much nearer such as from around Cosy Bay (just outside Pebbly Bay Condo at Tanjong Rhu) would probably still be ok.

BTW, for option b, how to go there if not driving?
For option C, the blk is 5, 7 & 12?
Thanks.
Clockunder said:According to the map, you can get up to the bridge along Nicoll highway from Stadium Rd and then get down to the Promenade area across the Kallang Basin River. See map below. If I'm not wrong, the blue triangles are the stairs. I'll probably check it out if I recce today.

For option C, I've never been there b4 although I've passed by that junction numerous times. So don't know what block number. Will check it out also if I do recce today.
