alamak, better to ensure one gets good film, rather than cheap film. Because your valuable shot could be messed up by a roll of bad film that you bought.

Just want to say thank you all for keeping 35mm film photography alive. It's been years for me, especially after leaving Singapore. Good to know that Ruby and all the familiar places are still selling film, and more importantly there are still folks who love film. It is still the best archival method for me. I have negs of me as a baby.

just a quick post: i found kentmere 400 selling at $29.95 usd for 100feet at adorama online as well as ebay.

i used to just wait at bhphoto for kentmere 400 but it was always out of stock.

Was at ruby yesterday and got the Ilford FP4Plus ISO125 bulk film (100ft) @ $84. Same price for HP5 Plus. They have plenty in stock for bulk films.

thanks for your update. i am quite full on 35mm but hungry for 120, so
your list is quite timely...

did a price simulation based on cheapest 120 format film i could find in the usa + shipping + conversion.
if i were to buy 500 pieces of formapan 400 (rebadged under Arista EDU), it still works out
to be about 4 sgd per 120 format roll.

therefore based on $4 for fomapan 400 vs $6 locally for Tmax 400, i would rather buy Tmax brand film.

all the kodak 120 b&w are $7 sgd from ruby. i bought tri-x today .
HP5 and FP4 in 120 are $6. only.

Perceptol (aka. Microdol-x) is $12.

Hi all SLR accessories is stocking up LUCKY SH new 100, either 135 or 120.

Price not cheap about less than $7 a roll. If you are desperate can always get from them.

I bought two bricks over 50 rolls, more has bulk discount.
