....caught this vegetarian housefly....but nothing close to 1:1, already near enuf to it....any closer and the fly will be gone.

appreciate suggestions from anyone...what is a better option to couple this lens to get 2x or more magnification. many thanks. sample picture below (click to view large):

getting closer; but shallower dof.....with still-life objects, 1:1 magnification is still ok with me.
...smaller insects, probably need a 1.7x teleconverter to notch up the size or working distance!
