but temasek times claims the government is protecting the foreigners.

if anyone even bothered to read the news, there's actually equal coverage of both driver and victims.

Does anyone else feel it's weird that we know and have names and pictures of all the people involved EXCEPT the lady in the Ferrari?
I mean, isn't that the one person who can shed the most light about the whole incident? For example - was Ma Chi drunk? Did he try to brake? Was she a WL hired by him? What was he doing just before the point of impact?

Seems weird, this utter silence about her. She was warded in hospital, right? And the press did not say she was in critical condition. So where or who is she?
Even the Japanese lady, who I can only assume bore the biggest brunt of the impact has been identified.

And another thing - Ma's body was cremated the very next day. Was an autopsy done to determine if he was drunk?

he's only one of many, which mainly involve locals. hard to catch them because let's face it. they're like the local version of The Fast and The Furious

being high makes you do stupid things. i can remember loads of it.

Im sorry to say this.. Perhaps due to this accident, I finally have some peace in my neighbourhood. No more rafting sounds from the bloody lamb and Fers. Even the puppy above me also decide to stop walking at night!

i've been hit on the side not once, not twice but three times by cars.. and all on two-wheeled vehicles. do you know how it feels like?

wait... i don't think you've even been hit like that.

You must be counting your beans to be still alive & well. Please be careful & think of your loved ones.

I've been riding motorcycle for 20yrs & for the 1st ten it was my only transport but I've never been involved in accidents other than skidded once in rain while cornering. Now I only ride it for pleasure.

I think pc game does help me to drive safe n react fast during driving.

B4 got my license, i win the racing game for dept event. Even look down by other that i wouldnt win cause no license.

When i drives a simulation in driving center, instructor also says i good at it.

Then at 4th lesson, instructor says my skill good too.

But still need twice to pass. First due to heavy traffic n need to filter from left to right n for an u-turn. 2nd time, might be i slow down as i saw some slow crossing ppl at a bend, i then got a pass.

Anyway, life is precious, dont waste it just like that. I ever think of dying when marriage failed but i think of my mum, i still here to quarrel with kei, ha ha!

Real life situation is quite different from simulators, you don't get killed in it. Please control your emotions when you are in control of a powerful vehicle in future.

Yup, I read all 12 pages of this thread before I asked, since no one seems to have posted anything about her.

And yes, I know you took it from the local news as well, where else?
But besides the occasional story like this, the rest of the newspapers are only good for other purposes. Since I don't keep birds or dogs, I have no need for the local newspapers.

i'm pretty careful...and it's bullsh!te about your life flashing by when you're placed in a situation of life and death.

i remember everything slowing down... and my body reacting by itself to break the fall or to counter the impact. after all.. i did study Wushu, Karate, TKD and wingchun... martial arts do help in situations like that...

Yah.... now that you mentioned it, same here.
I live in Sembawang and almost every night I'd hear those bengs in their souped up cars revving away past midnight and racing along the road to the shipyard.
Good to have some peace and quiet at last.

I think the TPs should step up their roadblocks. Lower Pierce and that NUH Road (Chinese call it 99 corners), Raffles Place/Shenton way, Lornie/Farrer are all common street race areas.
